Titreşimli çatallı seviye anahtarları ürünün bulunduğu seviyeye ait noktasal bilgi verir. Temel olarak doğal bir frekansta havada resonans yapan çatallardan oluşur. Çatal bir ortam ( ürün) ile temas ettiğinde, rezonans frekansı azalacaktır.
Çalışma Prensibi
Titreşimli anahtarlarda titreşim çubuğu veya çatalı, piezo seramik elemanlar tarafından rezonans frekansında titreştirilir. Anahtar genellikle tankın yan yüzeyine veya üstüne flanşlı veya dişli bağlantı ile monte edilir.
Hava bulunan ortamda iken ya da ürün ile temas halinde değilken, çatal bir devre tarafından izlenebilen doğal frekansta titreşir. Çatallar sıvı ile temas ettiğinde, salınım frekansı düşer ve anahtar elektroniği tarafından tespit edilir. Bu elektronik devre , alarm yaratacak, bir pompayı durduracak, vana açacak veya farklı işlem uygulayabilecek şekilde çıkış konumunu değiştirir. Anahtarın çalışma frekansı normal tesis titreşiminden etkilenerek yanlış anahtarlamaya sebep olmayacak şekilde seçilmelidir.

Bu tip ölçüm teknolojisi kullanılırken uygun anten özelliklerini belirleyebilmek için; ölçülecek katı, sıvı veya gaz malzemenin dielektrik sabiti bilgisine ihtiyaç duyarız.
Bu yazımızda, USKON olarak çeşitli firmalardan, sahadan ve arşivlerden edindiğimiz bir çok malzemenin dielektrik sabiti bilgisine ulaşabileceksiniz. Birçok malzemenin değerlerinin doğruluğunu, çok değişken koşullar gözardı edilemeyeceği için garanti edemesekte, birçoğu başvuru niteliğindedir. Riskli veya yüksek güvenirlilik hassasiyeti gerekli olduğunda, ilgili malzeme için standartlara uygun olarak sertifikalı laboratuarlarda test ve ölçüm yapılmalıdır. Dielektrik katsayısı/sabiti (Dc) her olası çalışma şartı altında ölçülebilir ve ancak böylelikle gerçek sonuçlar öngörebilir olur.

• Sadece isim beznerliği veya anlamdaş diye, bilinmeyen bir dielektrik sabiti için o değeri esas almayınız.
• “Tanecikli Katı” veya “Toz Halindeki Katı” malzemelerin herzaman aynı büyüklüklerde olmayacağını unutmayınız. Bunlar, uygulamacıların o anki koşullar altındaki malzemeleri isimlendirmeleriyle yaptıkları genellemelerdir.

Seviye Ölçümünde Dielektrik Sabiti (Dc) Kullanımı
Sıvıların Seviyelerinin Ölçümü:
Bir malzemenin Dc si temel olarak, boşluğa göre oranlanır. Bu gerekli radyo frekans enerji miktarını da bir oran cinsinden ortaya çıkarır. Örnek vermek gerekirse; saf su (Dc=80.0) 80 sefer kadar geçer. Bir başka örnekte, yakıt (Dc=2.1) dir, yani 2,1 kadar geçer.
Bir sıvı/sıvı ölçümü; malzemelerden biri iletken (örneğin; içme suyu, asit, kostik vb.) ve diğeri de iletken-değil ise (örneğin; motor yağı, gres, anilin vb.) daha güvenilir ölçülür. İyi bir hassasiyet için, her malzemenin iletkenlik sabitini korumalıdır.
Katı Seviyelerinin Ölçümü:
Katılardaki Dc de aynı sıvılardaki gibi tanımlanmıştır. Fakat, katılarda toz veya granül halde bulunduklarından partiküller arası boşlukları dolduran gaz mevcuttur.(Dc gaz = 1,0)
Gerçek Dc = (Katının Dc’ si – 1,0)(Genel Yoğunluk / Katının Yoğunluğu) + 1,0 olarak hesaplanır.
